One of my side projects (like I need any more) was taking a stab at mask making. Last Halloween I picked up a few discounted pre-made masks for their shapes, spackled them together, and worked at making it look like an eerie owl. It served as my last convention costume. Then the very lovely cosplay mode Acid Poptart helped me create a costume to go with it and she became Madam Lydia Wilhelmina, the character from my latest tarot deck. The photos are gorgeous and bless her for actually wearing that heavy as hell mask for a coupe hours as I dragged her around Pyramid Hill.
